Speaker Selector | AMP IV Lite
Speaker Selector | AMP IV Lite
is the stand-alone speaker selector circuit, from the mothership AMP IV
AMP IV is for the health of your Amplifiers, and is a Speaker Attenuator, Silent Loadbox with dedicated line level output, AC Voltage Reduction (reduce the voltage from the wall by 5% or 10%), Surge Protector, and Speaker Selector.
Speaker Selector
• Safely toggles your guitar amplifier's speaker output between two speaker cabinets
• Uses a heavy-duty high voltage toggle switch to passively select between two speaker systems
• "Stupid proof" circuit - automatically bypasses the switching if you accidentally forget to plug in one of the speaker outputs; automatically routing it to the other output. Maintaining a safe load for your amplifier.
• Speaker Selector does not contain an attenuator or load box, nor does it affect the impedance the amplifier sees. You must use safe practices when connecting speaker loads, especially with tube amplifiers. Tube Amplifiers must ALWAYS see a load, preferably a load consistent with your amplifier's speaker output impedance (4Ω, 8Ω, 16Ω)
