This rectifier replaces the 5AR4, 5Y3, 5U4 rectifier tubes. Direct replacement, inserts into the tube socket just like the tube.
Use to get a little more wattage out of your amp, reduce sag / tighten response. Or just an excellent emergency backup for when your rectifier tube fails.
